Getting Here

By Land

Northern Michigan is a beautiful drive from many Midwest metropolitan areas. We can find the most efficient route for you, or tell you the best places to stop along the way! Meetings Up North can also arrange for motor coach transportation for your entire group from your home base to the Northern Michigan destination of your choice. What a great way to do some team building on your way to your meeting!

By Sea

Lake Michigan passenger and car ferries are available between Northwest Michigan and Wisconsin. The trip includes food, shopping, movies, and relaxation. It travels from May through October and group rates are available.

By Air

Our air team can help make arrangements for your group's flight to Northern Michigan.  We are serviced by Traverse City’s Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) and Pellston Regional Airport (PLN).  Cherry Capital is a full-service commercial airport, offering major airline jet service to over 300 domestic and international destinations. Northwest, United, American and Delta fly into TVC, providing direct service to and from Detroit, Chicago, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, Dallas/Fort Worth and New York (LaGuardia). Other domestic and international locales are typically a one-stop flight from Traverse City. A new 100,000 square foot terminal opened in 2004. For more information on flight schedules, please visit www.tvcairport.com.

Pellston Regional Airport is serviced by Northwest Airlines with a combination of regional jets and turboprops. A new terminal was recently completed and is now open to traveling passengers. For more information please visit www.pellstonairport.com Many other private airports are available throughout Northern Michigan for private and chartered planes. Meetings Up North can also arrange for your charter, if desired.
